If you see something you like in our store but it is not quite right, please contact us with your specifications and we will provide you with a quote. Once the quote is approved, we will start production.

Most of our items come with a medium oak finish as standard but we are happy to finish as you require, if you would like a lighter or darker finish please let us know when you order.

Alternatively if you require a specific colour please visit Farrow&Ball, select a colour and let us know with your order. Please note there is no need to order the paint, we will take of that if we do not have the colour required in stock.

Live edge and straight edge finishes offer distinct aesthetics for wood furniture:

At Mark Gates Furniture, we ensure a smooth and reliable delivery process for all our handcrafted pieces. Here‘s what to expect:

1. Order Confirmation- Once you place your order, we will send a confirmation email with the details.

2. Production & Preparation- All our items are made to order, we’ll begin crafting it with care. Standard Lead times are 3-4 weeks, however this can be expedited if needed sooner, please contact us.

3. Scheduling Delivery-  When your furniture is ready, we will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date and time.

4. Safe & Secure Delivery-  We use trusted couriers or our own delivery service to ensure your furniture arrives in perfect condition. Larger items may require a two-person delivery team.

5. Delivery charges- As standard are delivery charges are included in the checkout price. However we at times have to charge a small delivery fee for the following postcodes:

Cornwall. TR, PL

Wales. Western side of SA, SY, LL

Scotland KW, IV, AB, PH, PA, DD

What is the return and refund process?

At Mark Gates Furniture, we take pride in our craftsmanship, but if you need to return an item, we aim to make the process as smooth as possible.

Returns:

Standard Items: If you are not completely satisfied, you can return unused, undamaged items within 30 days of delivery. Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Customised Items: Due to their bespoke nature, these items are non-refundable unless faulty or damaged upon arrival.

Refunds:

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund within 7 to 10 business days using the original payment method.

Shipping costs for non-faulty returns are the responsibility of the customer.

Damaged or Faulty Items:

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours with photos, and we will arrange a replacement or repair.
